Art helps to see souls

There is something magical about artistic pieces – they are invitational. They invite to see the world through another’s eyes and help to recognize, feel and sometimes understand.

Art moves. It has lifted up the stones from my heart. This last week has been an internal battle full of anxious thoughts, unnecessary rightiousness and lack of appreciation. A random Fb post gave me an idea to search for photographs of China, and what I found restored my love for the place and its people.

Here are the links to the photographs that engage, invite and perfectly capture of how diverse and exciting this country is:

There are three things that I miss while being in China and what I will never leave again if I ever move somewhere even for a short time:

  1. Photo camera.
  2. Watercolours.
  3. Hair straightener.
